Hello and greetings from the Sunshine State, Delightful Dunedin, and the Prouty Pink Flamingo Bar and Grill! Great flights on Delta, in-seat TV, movies, sports, Delta knows how to take care of passengers on long flights (SLC to TPA).
Arrived in time to turn the water on in the condo, and then a gush of water from the toilet pipe. The water is now off and we have no potty, so using the neighbors. Don't want to pay $160 /hr for weekend plumber so we'll wait until Monday. Darn humidity and salt air corrodes everything in Florida.
Ann and Rose were waiting for us at the condo with a wonderful gift basket full of goodies, food, lotions, magazine, cookbook, and also a kitchen full of food for our first few days. What a blessing sisters are huh?
We headed to Frenchy's Rockaway Grill for dinner, and to catch our first sunset in November. Even went to Frenchy's gift shop where we found our "Chicks Fun and Fifty" picture they post right on the display case from September when I was here with Rose, Toni and Tammy. The clerk wanted to take our picture with our "picture" from September..weird but what the heck.
Came back to the condo and my neighbor Frances was being transported to the ED by ambulance and fire trucks. Frances is 92 and pretty much doesn't want to eat or drink, and is very sick. Her sweet daughter Linda is her care taker and pretty shaken up. We all lended support and hugs as Frances was being taken away.
Been up since 345 am, and now it's 1112 pm. Time for bed, and a day of Art Festivals and Clearwater Beach fun on Sunday.
